Now I love the Aliens franchise, I have multi-dipped on the home video outings VHS, Laserdisc, DVD and Blu-ray editions, toys, comics, imported magazines, the games, I even own a replica M4A1 Pulse Rifle! I’m ready for a good Aliens video game experience and I really hope Sega and Creative Assembly can pull it off because this franchise needs a good game. You can say it’s a different developer so it shouldn’t matter but it does, no one likes to get burned twice. We thought that same thing with Aliens: Colonial Marines and look what happened. Aliens: Isolation has been in development secretly for three years, what we see today is hopefully what we’ll end with. Now onto the bad, Aliens: Colonial Marines was in development hell for years and look what we ended up with. They’ve also gone back and turned this one into a sci-fi horror experience more like the original Alien film, with no mention of co-op or multiplayer which sounds like a good plan. First the good, Sega is releasing this for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, so all platforms covered.
